Hello everyone

I’ve recently retired (and loving it!) and my husband and I moved to beautiful Powell River, BC, last summer.  We were able to rent  a house on the beach for the summer until our house purchase completed. Needless to say, even though my quilting room had been set up for me I find that I spent a lot of time learning to relax and watch the sunsets

I bought the HQ16 mid-arm quilting machine and frame system about 2 years ago and I’m having so much fun! That’s the reason I started the blog – to share my learning curve with anyone else thinking about getting into machine quilting on a frame or just starting out.  I have an on-line store where I sell Superior Threads sewing and quilting threads so I’m kept pretty busy.  I hope that you find something useful and fun as you follow along
